Lets get connected!
This guide should help you get connected to our VPN server using OpenVPN. If you can't get connected, don't hesitate to contact us.
Step 1
Install OpenVPN Connect from the Play Store.
Search for OpenVPN Connect and tap install or Click here to open in Play Store and click on install, also if you are prompted click accept.
Step 2
Open the 'OpenVPN Connect' app.
Step 3
After STEP 2, an 'Import Profile' screen will appear, in the 'URL' box do NOT delete the pre-entered 'https://' and then enter our server address:
server.uk-internet.co.uk
Step 4
After STEP 3 a login page should appear,
- For the 'Username' and 'Password' boxes, enter the details we provided you via email.
- For the 'Profile Name' box, enter a name of your choice, e.g. UK TV.
- For the 'Port' box, enter the number specified in the email. - IMPORTANT: if this is not correct you will receive an error saying your account does not exist, even though the box is labelled optional the number is required.
- Finally, tick the 'Import autologin profile' box and click 'IMPORT' at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5
After STEP 4 a message may appear saying 'Accept Invalid Certificate?', just click 'Accept' - Don't worry this is nothing to worry about.
Step 6
After you have clicked accept from STEP 5, click on the toggle/switch below the word 'Disconnected'. (Shown in image below)
Step 7
Nearly there! Click 'ok' to allow the VPN Connection, on some devices you may need to tick 'I trust this application' before clicking ok.
Step 8
That's it! You should now be connected to our server.
Please Note if you don’t use your device for a period of time, or if you power off your device, you may need to re-open the 'OpenVPN Connect' app and reconnect to our server by clicking the toggle/switch again (as shown in STEP 6) before you can watch your TV apps.
You can now go back to your home screen, use your tv apps and browse the web as normal as if you are in the UK!
